Subject: Tesnière, the author, is misspelled for this wonderful Catholic book on devotions to and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
The author / creator / tag is misspelled here, making it harder to search for this author, either by “Tesniere” or “Tesnière”.
Written by Father Tesnière, a priest of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, his life was dedicated to the purpose of practicing and spreading devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.
Throughout this book, Adoration, Thanksgiving, Reparation, Prayer, and a Practice for each subject is described. This book teaches a great way to learn formation in the Catholic method of meditation, prayer and proving it with an action. The Catholic prays very differently from every other faith community / belief set, even though we may use the same words, in the Catholic world, these words mean very different things.
This devotional book includes sections on
The Reasons of the Eucharist,
The Divine Titles of the Eucharist,
The Human Titles of the Eucharist,
The Motives of the Eucharistic Adoration,
The Exposition of the Most Holy Sacrament,
The subjects covered in this last section, among many, include a chapter on the purpose of reparation for Eucharistic abasements of Jesus Christ and profanations. Making up for abuses today may be more vital today than ever before in our history. This segues into the chapter of "Exposition of the Most Holy Sacrament is the Shield of the Church and of the World, Averting the strokes of Divine Justice". - yes humble reparation is a solid old-fashioned method for asking for mercy. Gosh, like, what did David do for his sins?
This old book also includes a Nihil Obstat and an Imprimatur, the assurance that it is doctrinally safe.
